1. Booking Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of their booking subject to the cancellation policy of the respective hotel, resort, cottage, or travel service provider.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on:

  • The cancellation policy of the booked property.
  • The time of cancellation before the check-in date.
  • The booking type and promotional offers applied.

Some bookings may be non-refundable as specified during the booking process.

3. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method used during the booking.

Refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days, depending on the payment provider and the customer’s bank.

4. No-Show Policy

If the guest does not arrive at the property without prior cancellation (“No-Show”), the booking may be treated as cancelled, and a refund may not be applicable based on the property’s policy.

5. Modification of Booking

Any request to modify booking dates, guest details, or room type is subject to availability and the policy of the respective hotel or service provider.

Additional charges may apply for modifications.

6. Hotel Cancellation

If a hotel or service provider cancels a confirmed booking due to unavoidable circumstances, Trip Ooty will assist customers in arranging an alternative booking or processing the applicable refund.

7. Force Majeure

Trip Ooty shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
